We recommend a free consultation before committing to your first session of laser hair removal. We’ll discuss the areas you’re interested in treating, assess your skin tone and hair texture, and answer any questions you have to gain a better understanding of what to expect. 

Laser hair removal uses controlled pulses of light to target and heat up the hair follicles to damage and inhibit further growth. It works best on coarse, dark hair, and all skin types- Fitzpatrick I-VI, can safely be treated with Diode technology. Multiple sessions, 4-6 weeks apart, are necessary as laser can only target the hair in its active growth phase (anagen)— when the follicle is connected to the blood supply. The number of initial sessions and maintenance sessions varies depending on the area being treated, hair type, hormones, and other contributing factors. 

For best results, the area treated will need to be freshly shaved, with hair present in the follicles— not waxed or tweezed for 6 weeks before. Prolonged sun exposure will need to be avoided before and after treatment, and a sunblock of 30 spf or greater is required after treatment.
